THE RESULT.
We listened carefully, taking on board the client’s specific requirements to comply with the Equality Act 2010, before giving the best possible advice, in terms of design, materials and functionality for the Braille and tactile elements.
The use of Braille and tactile embossed characters were set into a contrasting colour the background, which greatly improved visibility and allowed partially sighted persons to visualise signage much easier.
THE CHALLENGE.
DMA Signs have just completed the Design, Supply, Delivery and Installation of Internal Wayfinding Signage in the new development at Phoenix Independent Cinema and Art Centre. Aesthetic, environmental impact, inclusion and accessibility, were key to the project’s success and the customers journey through the building.
